The Roar Our Rallying Cry!!!

Did you know that Sierra Leone, was originally called Serra Lyoa in Portuguese meaning “Lion Mountains”? Likely owing to the thunderous roar coming from the range of hills that surrounds our harbor. Over the years we seem to have lost our ROAR as young people we’ve got to start thinking about how we get our voice back in education, employment & productive lifestyle, health, fashion, etc

But I tell you regaining our roar is going to be an uphill task but one worth lending a voice to achieve in time. Creating a thunderous roar means we need the masses to join in the shout. We need more young people going through the educational system both formal & informal, more young people diversifying career paths, more young people being pace setters, more young people innovating, we need more… we need more…

The biggest question is how do we do it, leaders don’t have all the answers so that’s why we’ve got to start thinking about the role we can play as young people to get the more we need, our relatives and friends  for the ROAR to be restored.
